Maria Merola has a “vision” to share with you and is looking for others who want to take the “baton” and run the race. Here is what the Double Portion Inheritance vision entails:
To plant congregations globally that bring together YaHuW’diy (Jews) & Gentiles in Messiah, YaHuW’shuwa (Jesus), and to raise up, train and mobilize the “Two Witness” army of Revelation 11, (the Two Candlesticks & the Two Olive Trees).
The mission of this congregation “model” is to educate those coming out of the Christianity and organized religion about the Hebraic Roots of the faith of our Messiah and to lay the foundation once again on the doctrine of the 1st Century YaHuW’diy (Jewish) Apostles (Pre-Constantine Era).
Our mission is also to reach out to the YaHuW’diy (Jews), and to share with them the Messianic prophecies of the TaNaKh (Old Testament), thereby giving them the opportunity to receive YaHuW’shuwa as their Messiah. We will also be imparting to people the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the “laying on of hands” (Acts 8:18, 1st Timothy 4:14, Hebrews 6:2). We will be instructing people also in how to operate in the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit (1st Corinthians 12-14).
The vision includes:
1.) A return to the “Tabernacle of David” model which will include a staff of full-time prayer intercessors, deliverance ministers and counselors. We hope to eventually have the facility open for prayer 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
2.) We will be conducting a worship service with music followed by the weekly “Torah Portion Reading” every Sabbath day at 11:00 -1:00 p.m. followed by a time of ministry and prayer. We will then have a break for lunch (Oneg) until 2:30 p.m. and then there will be teaching on Paleo Hebrew Alef-Beyt (alphabet) and other Hebraic Root’s studies dealing with Yisra’el and eschatology until 4:30 p.m. followed by a time of prayer and ministry, and then we will have a “Havdalah” meal after the sun goes down.
3.) Teaching on the Holy Feast Days of YaHuWaH (Leviticus 23) and observing these Holy Feast Days for their prophetic significance as they point to Messiah.
4.) Publishing small brochures that will be distributed for all to take and read for freely. These brochures will each discuss one topic at a time, giving people an education on the origins behind the Pagan holidays that come from ancient Babylon versus the Holy Days that YaHuWaH has commanded us to observe forever. These brochures will help to prepare people for being fully grafted into the Olive Tree (Yisra’el) into our Hebrew Heritage in YaHuW’shuwa.
5.) Conducting Sunday services at 11 a.m. for those Christians who are still looking to attend a church on Sunday. We do not consider Sunday as an alternative to keeping the Sabbath of YaHuWaH. Our only purpose in having a “Sunday” service is to reach those Christians who have not yet been exposed to the Torah life-style. We believe that “Sunday Law” will be instituted by the Roman Papacy in the end times as part of the “the Mark of the Beast” enforceable by a computer chip in the hand or forehead. Sunday is taught in Roman Catholicicm as the “New Christian Sabbath” because it is secretly meant to point to pagan sun-god worship. We are only offering Sunday services for the purpose of bringing “Gentile” believers into the Hebraic understanding of the faith of Messiah. By offering Sunday services, we hope to bring a renewed understanding of the importance of YaHuWaH’s Sabbath Days as being a “sign” of his Covenant with us forever (Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:12-20).
We will emphasize that Saturday (the 7th day) is the true Sabbath and that Sunday is just another extra day to fellowship. But Sunday should by no means be called “Sabbath.”
Our Sunday services will not be focused on teaching, but will be more of exhortation, and Apostolic Preaching. We want to preach hard-hitting messages that challenge the believers to go deeper in YaHuWaH, and come away refreshed in the Holy Spirit. Our Sunday services will feature a mix of Contemporary & Hebraic style worship music.
6.) To have a children’s ministry where the children can learn in their own environment on the Sabbath Day as well as on Sundays.
7.) To have an emphasis on intercessory prayer and will offer a 24/7 Prayer Sanctuary where there will be prayer going on day and night all year around as in the Tabernacle of David.
8.) To conduct special outreaches to the community with evangelism to the lost, to the homeless, poor, widows, orphans, and those sick in the hospital. We will be visiting those in prison and bringing the good news to them as well.
9.) Teaching and training people on how to operate in the prophetic gifts, healing, signs and wonders.
10.) Publishing books, as well as recording and publishing our own worship music. The ministry will have its own recording studio that will have state of the art equipment for the purpose of recording music, teaching videos, and other video and movie productions.
11.) The ministry will be expanding into other Congregation plants.
